What are the Keystone Exams? The Keystone Exams are an end of course assessment designed to evaluate proficiency in academic content. The Keystone Exams will replace the 11th grade PSSA test.

Who will take the Keystone Exams All students in grades 9-11 will take the Keystone Exams. This test will count towards student graduation and Propel Braddock Hills' Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).
When will the exams be offered? Propel will be administering the Keystone Exams at various times throughout the school year based on subject area as follows: Algebra 1 - December & May Literature - January & May Biology - January
Algebra 1 Keystone • Composed of 2 modules • Student must score proficient on both modules • Once a student scores proficient, they do not have to take the test again • If a student scores proficient on only one of the modules, they only have to take the module they did not score proficient in again
When will your child take the Algebra 1 Keystone Exam? Winter Test: • 11th graders will take the paper version • Select 9th and all 10th graders will take the computer version Spring Test: • All other 9th graders and any upperclassmen who did not pass in the winter will retake • Computer version only
