  2. Early Life Shakespeare was born in 1564 on the 23rd of April in Stratford upon Avon, England. He was first influenced into the art that made him famous when he attending a nearby play when he was 4 years old. Even though he couldn’t understand exactly all of the words that were being said he loved the sounds of the characters and their costumes.

  3. Education There are no clear and specific records that are relating to his education during his childhood or later on in life. All we know is that he would’ve attended King Edward VI Grammar School in the same place he was born at during his time when he was 7 years old in 1571 and left education when he was 14 in 1578.

  4. End of Life Unfortunately he died the same date that he was born on his 52nd birthday. The records of his burial showed it taking place April 25, 1616.

  5. Major Works His genres included comedy, history, and his most famous work tragedy. Overall William Shakespeare had written 38 plays with a variety of different genres.

  6. Facts In 1594, Shakespeare became one of the founders of Lord Chamberlain’s Men, an acting/theater group that soon became the leading player’s company in London. Plays were performed only in the afternoon, by daylight.  Shakespeare did not go to college. Shakespeare returned to Stratford after he finished work on The Tempest, in 1611. In 1603, Shakespeare's company became the official player for King James I and renamed themselves The King's Men
