  2. How To Access ePartconnection.com To access the ePartConnection website, enter the following URL within the internet browser: http://www.epartconnection.com/. The following login screen will now be displayed as shown:

How To Access ePartconnection.com • With the cursor positioned under the Store Id: prompt, enter the Store ID provided by your supplier and then press the <Tab> key. • With the cursor positioned under the Customer Number: prompt, enter the Customer Number provided by your supplier and then press the <Tab> key. • With the cursor positioned under the Password: prompt, enter the password provided by your supplier and then press the <Tab> key. • Position the mouse pointer on the Login button and click to login to the suppliers’ ePartConnection website.

  4. The Select Year/Recent Vehicles screen will now be displayed as shown

  5. Hot Links • “Hot Links” allow you to go directly to websites or non-catalog categories directly from the opening screen after login

  6. Lookup VIN or Lookup License Plate • Users have the ability to use a VIN number or the Vehicle License Plate to identify the year, make and model

  7. Selecting A Recent Vehicle Users have the ability to select a recently selected vehicle as follows: • From the Select Year/Recent Vehicles screen, select any of the listed vehicles under the Recent Vehicles heading. The Select Year/Recent Vehicles screen will now be displayed as shown

  8. Select a Vehicle by Year, Make and Model • From the “Select Year/Recent Vehicles” screen, select the year. The Select Year/Recent Vehicles screen will now be displayed as shown Selecting The Vehicle’s Year

  12. From the “Select Parts Category” screen, select the parts category to lookup. Selecting The Part Category

From the “Select Parts Category” screen, click in the Search Part Description field. • Enter in a part description to search for (i.e. Oxygen Sensor) and click the search button. • The screen will display a list of available parts categories for the part description entered as shown Selecting The Part Category (Search by Part Description)

  14. From the “Select Parts Group” screen, click to select the parts group to lookup parts. Selecting The Part Group

  15. Some lookups will prompt for special conditions that apply to the vehicle being looked up, such as Eng. Code, Air Conditioned?, w/Power Steering?, 4 Wheel Drive? or w/Auto Trans? Displayed above are some special conditions for the Belts part group. Choose option and click “Submit” Selecting The Part Group (Special Conditions)

  16. The screen will display a list of parts that can be ordered. A thumbnail photo of the part also displays. Parts Information Screen

  17. Clicking on the thumbnail photo will bring up a detailed image with specs and OE cross references Parts Information Screen

  18. With the screen displaying a list of parts that can be ordered, click on the check box under “Select” to order. Perform this for all the parts that need to be ordered and then click on the “Add to Order” button. Parts Information Screen

  19. You can record a lost sale by selecting a part, then clicking a reason for the lost sale, then clicking “Record Lost Sales”. Recording Lost Sales

  20. By clicking the “Hide Cost button, you may remove your price from the part display screen if a customer is viewing the screen, and you don’t want them to see your price Hide Cost

  21. By clicking the “Show Secondary Lines” button, you may view parts your supplier can special order for you. Viewing Secondary (Non-Stocked) Lines

  23. By clicking on the “Non Catalog Parts & Accessories” tab on the tool bar, you can view parts your supplier sells that aren’t year, make and model specific. Non Catalog Parts & Accessories

  24. With the screen displaying the list of parts selected for ordering, if you would like to add information such as License #, Work Order #, Mechanic and Customer, position the mouse pointer on the “Pending Orders” button and click. Review and Place Order Screen

  25. With the screen displaying the list of pending orders, select “Review” next to the order and click. (or, click “Select Current Order” above the list) Review Order Screen

  26. This is where you add information such as License #, Work Order #, Mechanic and Customer, then click “Place Order” Review Order Screen

  27. Fill in Purchase Order number, select Delivery Options and Fill Policy Request, Comments if needed, then click “Place Order”. Place Order Screen

  28. For quicker order processing, simply click “Place Order” from this screen. It will take you to the final screen before the order actually goes through. (see previous slide) Direct to Place Order Screen

  29. If the order was successfully transmitted to your supplier, the following “green” screen will be displayed as shown Order Successfully Placed

  30. After selecting a vehicle you may view vehicle specifications Vehicle Specifications

  31. After selecting a vehicle, then clicking “Service Intervals”, by selecting a vehicle’s mileage, you can view recommended service Service Intervals

  32. At any time a stock check can be performed for a specific part number. •  To perform a stock check, click the “Stock Check” heading on the tool bar. You will be directed to the screen above. Performing a Stock Check

  33. In the “Enter the Part Number only” box, enter the part number to check stock on and then click the Check Stock button. • The user has the option to enter the part number only or the manufacturer and part number separated by a slash character (i.e. PH8A or FRA/PH8A). Performing a Stock Check

  35. If the entered part number was found, the screen will display all parts with that number. • To add the part number to the current order, click on the “Add to Order” button. Performing a Stock Check

To perform an interchange, click the “Stock Check” heading on the tool bar. • Enter the part number to perform an interchange for and then click on the “ePart Interchange” button. • The user has the option to enter the part number only or the manufacturer and part number separated by a slash character (i.e. PH8A or FRA/PH8A).   37. The screen will now display a list of manufacturers from which to select for the entered part number. • Select any of the listed manufacturers to interchange from. Looking Up An Interchange

  38. If there were interchanges found for the entered part number, the screen will display them. Looking Up An Interchange

  39. To add the part number to the current order, click on the Add to Order button next to it. Looking Up An Interchange

  40. Clicking on the “Stock Order” tab in the tool bar allows you to create an order when you know the part numbers you want, and have a list to order. Stock Order

  41. Clicking on the E-Tools & Equipment tab on the header bar takes you to the tool lookup section for ordering hand and power tools from ISN Tools E-Tools and Equipment

  42. Clicking on the “Favorites” tab on the toolbar will display a list of “Parts Lists” unique to the customer logged in Favorites

  43. Clicking on “My Inventory” for example, displays a custom list of parts or categories of parts that may be stocked by the Installer from his supplier. Favorites

  44. Clicking on a category, Wix for example, will display a list of stocked parts to create a quick stock order for shelf replenishment Favorites

  45. Clicking on the “Edit” button allows the user to create his own lists of parts Favorites

  46. Above is the setup screen for creating unique parts lists Favorites

  47. The first step is to create a category name. Enter the name, then click “Add Group” Favorites

  48. Once the category is created, click “Edit Category” Favorites

  49. An example of creating “sub-groups” in a category is shown above. This is used when you create a category that may contain various trucks, as in the example above. Once the “sub-group” is added, you may edit that and add parts. Favorites

  50. Add Parts to the new category, one at a time, or by importing from a .csv file. The “Default Quantity to Order” column is used for a stocking inventory to show how many are stocked Favorites
