Sergeant Stressful This is an intro of my Mr. men book. One day Sergeant Stress walked out of his police station sweating in stress. “Oi Sergeant,” said the other policeman. “Ahh y y yes sir,” said Stress. We are going to catch Lord Candy, he’s planning on taking over the candy shop. “Oh oh, no, we’re not going to catch him, aaaagh I’m so stressed !
Lunchtime Activities: Art For my group we did art at lunch on Tuesday with Benjamin, Merrick, Charlotte, Gen, Millie, Ryan and I. We had about twenty people, which was a good amount so they were easy to control like when we clapped our hands the kids all listened. I think we should have said the activities on the speaker and also said if we finished early we could do a game because when we said that at lunch most kids sounded excited.
Matilda Matilda is a great book; Matilda was a little girl five years old actually. She started walking to the Library by herself and reading really, really difficult books for a little girl. But her parents and brother are really lazy and mean. Now matilda will get them back.
Bike Education For Bike Ed this term we got to put our skills to the test and rode on the road. We did the riding test and have not got our results yet. It was a long test that put scanning, signaling, and much more to the ultimate test. Everyone was nervous and anxious because they all wanted to pass the test.
Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets This book kept me going for ages, it is very exciting and spooky especially the dramatic ending with the giant, awesome, scary...I’ll stop because you might want to read it. It’s a great adventure for the second book. But it lacked a few things like at the start when he’s at the Dursleys being saved by the Weasleys is a bit boring and rambles on a bit. But all in all it’s a great book.

Term 1 Goals • To read for longer, by making more time to read. • To be better at maths for example, times tables and division. • To put my hand up more to answer questions/ask questions in class.
Term 2 Goals • Be better at times tables and be able to say them off by heart. • To read more times a week. • To give more compliments to my class mates.
Term 3 Goals • I should read longer. • To not leave my homework to the last couple of days. • To get into less arguments, and solve more arguments.
Art • For art we made a kombi van and decorated it with anything we like. Mine hade a few of dinosaurs and colours, mines number plate was Dracula. It was great fun.
Areas Of Mathematics • NUMBER • SPACE • MEASUREMENT, CHANCE & DATA • STRUCTURE • WORKING MATHEMATICALLY • In term two we have been doing a maths game where we have to reach a certain number using one, two, three and four. We had to reach numbers between 80-100 • Equations on next slide.
Math's term 2-Equations • (23x4)+1=93 • (23x4)-1=91 • 23x4=92 • (43x2)+1=87 • 43x2=86 • (43x2)-1=85 • (14x3)x2=84
Maths • For maths we did an activity were we had to make three quarters. In my opinion it was fairly easy. Next slide for some examples
Religious Education • Term 1 • Term 2 • Term 3 • Term 4 This term (term 2) we have been learning about Terra Santa school in Nazareth. Mrs Selleck has been teaching us about Nazareth. Two grade fives from Stella Maris and two grade fives from Saint Josephs will be travelling there, but there parents will have to pay. Then afterwards two Terra Santa school kids will come to our school.
Sacramental Box For homework we had to make a sacramental box. We had to decorate and make items that relate to the sacrament .We then presented it to the class. My sacrament was Holy Orders I learnt that Holy Orders is when you become a priest or a nun. Both of these people offer their life to God. They do not marry they work for the church and follow the teachings of God.
Inquiry In inquiry this term I enjoyed researching light bulbs here is my slide show. Light bulb
History Box This term (term 3) we have been learning about history especially Ballarat Goldfield. Two people came to school and talked about the Goldfields. Some of our classmates got to dress up as important people on the goldfields like Peter Laylor. We got to make allspice, which was a common spice that people ate on the goldfields. We also got to have a go at writing how kids would write back then. We used ink pens, the writing was squiggly. My favourite activity was the digging for gold. But the only things in the buckets were old stuff like old keys and candles. The panning for gold was a bit boring in my opinion because we knew there was no real gold in the buckets.

Physical Education This Term the grade sixes have been involved in interschool sports.We have been filling in for them. I went in soft ball, it’s mostly the same as baseball. We had a complete grade five team, after a few innings we were down 1 to 11 or something. Then we got to 14 and they got to 16, finally we lost by 2 points. It was great fun.
