This study investigates mRNA and protein expression levels of AGAT, GAMT, and BB-CK in the striatum and frontal cortex of 8-week-old R6/2 mice. Quantitative PCR was conducted on non-microwaved brain samples to assess mRNA levels, while Western blot analyses were performed on microwaved samples to evaluate protein expression. Results encompass data from 5 animals per group, with significance marked at p < 0.05, highlighting important insights into metabolic alterations associated with R6/2 mouse models.
