  4. Cloister • Noun • Secluded or isolated from the outside world; also, a place of seclusion • During the trial, the jury remained cloistered in a motel.

  5. Complacent • Adjective • Self-satisfied; unconcerned • Facing a less-talented opponent, it’s easy to grow complacent and blow a big game.

  6. Compliant • Adjective • Following someone else’s demands; conforming; obeying • Employers who are domineering usually try to hire compliant people.
