  1. Welcome to Oakland Catholic High School! Spirituality, Scholarship, Service

  3. The Sophomore class Mass is today during 8th and 9th period.   • Students will go to their 8th period class. • After attendance, each class will come to the Chapel.  

  4. The Campus Ministry meeting is today in room 105, from 2:45 - 3:15.   All are welcome!  

  5. Attention Seniors: • Seniors who ordered Senior Announcements from Josten's can pick up their orders in the Study Area during lunch periods today.

  6. Attention Sophomores - Class Rings: • The representative from Josten's will be here in the Study Area during lunch periods on Wednesday,  March 20th, to take orders for class rings.  • Information packets are being distributed in Homeroom today.   • A $50.00 deposit is needed to place your order. • Also, any junior or senior who would like to order a class ring can stop in the Main Office to pick up a packet.

  7. Class color dress down day on Thursday, March 21- wear your class color- all profits go to your class and their decorations for Spirit week! • Cost is $3.00. • Got Spirit?

  8. Latin club will meet Thursday March 21st after school in room 213. You do not need to be taking Latin to join. For more information see either Abby Annear or Ms. Day.

  9. MAPS is sponsoring a gently used blanket and children's book drive. • There will be a donation box located outside of the Guidance Office. • The drive will run for the next few weeks  and all donations will benefit  "Angel's Place" which provides child care for Pittsburgh's impoverished families.

  10. One Acts Acting Friday after school Don’t Miss it! Ms. B needs to cast!!!! 2:45 – 5:00 See you there!

  11. Congratulations, Nicole Johnson Nicole was selected to be on the western PA AAAA girls all star team.

  12. The Anatomy Club meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, March 25th after school in the Lecture Hall. Mrs.Ozolekfrom Children's Hospital will be our guest speaker.

  13. Senior sleep over • Attention all seniors remember • that you money for the senior • sleep over is due by March 27th. • The cost is $10 which includes • food and drinks for the night.

  14. Senior Fundraiser • We need 45 senior volunteers for the senior • fundraiser “Let’s Go on a Cruise” April 27th. Sign • sheets will be posted on Mr. Kornosky’s door • room 202. The deadline to sign up is March 27th. • Please volunteer and help your class raise • money for our senior gift.

  15. Congratulations to the Swim Team who placed 5th at States. • The 400 yard Freestyle Relay Team, made up of Natalie Feola, Leah Smith, Peyton Kondis and Alex Elizeus placed 3rd. • The 200 yard Medly Relay Team, made up of Alex Elizeus, Peyton Kondis, Wynonna Rinkacs and Natalie Feola came in 10th. • The 200 yard Freestyle Relay Team , madeup of Natalie Feola, Peyton Kondis, Leah Smith and Alex Elizeus came in 4th. • Leah Smith won both of her individual events: The 200 yardFreestyle and the 500 yard Freestyle. In the 500 yard Freestyle Leah set a new PIAA Record. • Congratulations to All!!
