A 14-year-old girl presented with decreased vision, headaches, and central scotomas. Examination revealed bilateral papilledema related to idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), alongside signs of Best's vitelliform maculopathy. The macular appearance is often described as resembling a "fried egg" or a sunny-side-up egg. This case highlights the association between IIH and this rare retinal condition, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive examination in young patients presenting with visual disturbances.
