2. City of Kingston • What is Stormwater? • Stormwater is any water that runs off the land during a storm event. • The City of Kingston is working to control Stormwater and protect it’s local water bodies

3. City of Kingston • Where does Stormwater go? • Like many cities in the northeast, Kingston has Combined Sewers in parts of the City. • All stormwater drains untreated from street level to the Rondout Creek. • All stormwater that drains into Combined Sewers travel to Kingston Wastewater Plant.
