What is OCD (ocp)

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterized by persistent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) that a person feels driven to perform. These behaviors are often carried out in an attempt to relieve the distress caused by the obsessions or to prevent a feared event or situation. However, the relief is usually temporary, and the cycle repeats, often interfering significantly with daily life.
