Development Activities • A thirteen question survey was disseminated through local public health department staff, emergency response agencies, medical students, fire fighters and paramedics. • Over 180 responses were compiled and utilized as a guidance to the development of the tools and resources incorporated into the mobile application and web vortal. • Development meetings with West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department Multi-Agency Planning and Advisory Committee. • Identified needs of the mobile app to ensure success and continuity including limiting size of app and the ability to save information to the memory card on the phone.
