    7. Tactics & Strategies Here are two possibilities, Cricket and Baseball.

    8. Tactics & Strategies In ebb and flow activities like football or basketball one tactic might be to mark the opponents man-to-man.

    9. The fundamental principles in many team games involve the following: Width Depth Delay (Do they apply to defence or attack? Or both?) Fundamental Principles

    10. Delay in Attack / Defense Delay in Defense is where we pressure the ball carrier to slow down the attack and minimize passing options This also allows the defense to set up Delay in Attack is where the team or player in possession slows down the attack to set up a set-play or wait for the best passing / scoring option

    11. Depth in Attack / Defense Depth. This is where players have many different passing options available to them. It means they have players available to pass to in front of and behind them. The objective is to maintain possession to create a scoring opportunity.

    12. Width in Attack / Defense Width means attacking using the full width of the area. The Defense are forced to mark the wide players. This stretches the defense, making gaps. The objective here is use the space created in middle of the area for; Attackers to make runs towards the target Attackers to receive passes through gaps in the defense Width can also be used to put in a good pass from the side for attackers to attack (e.g. Wingback in football crossing ball in for tall striker)
