    1. The Fog Horn by Ray Bradbury Read the story that begins on page 319 with your partner. Each partner needs their own sheet of paper. Create one of each type of the QAR Questions and answer each question-you need a total of 4 questions and answers. Authors Message: McDunns reaction to the monster is interesting and unexpected. What idea might the author be trying to get across with McDunns response? Compare and Contrast: How has the narrators life changed a year after his encounter with the monster Reading Comprehension: What do the ships captains think they are hearing? What are they really hearing? Infer: What does the monster do after McDunn turns off the fog horn? What words describe the monsters feelings?
