The two most significant naadis are Ida and Pingala, originating from the muladhara chakra and intersecting at various points, forming chakras. Ida is the left channel, symbolizing feminine energy, associated with the moon and the Ganges River, ending in the left nostril. In contrast, Pingala is the right channel, representing masculine energy and the sun, associated with the Yamuna River, culminating at the right nostril.
