  2. a whip On Monday, young boys visit girls´ homes, sing carrols and whip them (gently) with a whip made of withes. This should make the girls healthy for whole next year. Also fathers whip mums and daughters. Girls and women are supposed to give them decorated eggs. In villages, young men prefere a bit of alcohol instead… Originally, they made the whips, now most of boys or men buys them.

  4. Czech republic is not really a religious country. For most people, Easter means the Monday whipping and decorating eggs. Thursday and Friday are free for children, and only Mondyay is a national holiday for all.
