About the APS The Australian Psychological Society (APS) is the largest professional association for psychologists in Australia, representing more than 20,000 members. • Undertakesadvocacy and lobbying with government and other groups for the benefit of members and the communities they serve • Provides guidance and support for 2,000+ student members • Delivers high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs

  3. Psychology Board of Australia The Psychology Board of Australia is the government-appointed regulatory body for psychologists. It is a separate organisation from the APS. The functions of the Boardinclude: • Registration of psychologists and provisional psychologists • Handling notifications, complaints, investigations and disciplinary hearings • Online register of psychologists • Find out more at www.psychologyboard.gov.au
