This victory preserved Europe as we know it

  5. Gregory the Great ( Pope Gregory) • Born : 540 • Died :604 • Children : N/A • Wives: N/A • Papacy: September 3, 590 until March 12, 604 Three Accomplishments • He joined a monastery and later became a monk • Was appointed Deacon by Pope Benedict I • Changed the format of mass
