State of the art and is it used at Pfizer (Sandwich, UK) • Multi-objective “stuff” • HTS/random screening • HT docking • Pharmacophore generation • Fragment based approaches • Machine learning / data mining • Focussed libraries • Pipeline Pilot • Other workflow tools (knime) • QSPR: property prediction • Chemogenomics / chemical biology • Bioisosters ± (we should do more) ++ (standard practise) - (has never worked for us, too slow) - (Other methods work better) + (Hot area but we are still learning) ++ (Large part of my job) + (Often done but design could be better) +++ (Changed our work dramatically) - (It is not free, cost of implementation) + (Not by classic linear QSAR) ++ (Hot area but very new to us) + (part of datamining effort)
