  7. Spondylosis (spän-də-ˈlō-səs) [GR. Spondylos, vertebra] Spondylos, vertebra, + osis, condition].

  8. Spondylolysis (spän-də-ˈläl-ə-səs) [“ + lysis, a dissolution]. The breaking down of vertebral structure.

  9. Spondylolisthesis (spän-də-lō-lis-ˈthē-səs) [“ + olisthesis, a slipping]. Forward subluxation of vertebrae.

  10. Arthrodesis (är-ˈthrä-də-səs) Arthro –[ GR. arthron, joint + desis, binding]. The surgical immobilization of a joint.

  11. Arthrodesis Bone Grafts • allogenic “allograft” • autogenous “autograft” Instrumentation

  12. Spinal Stenosis (stə-ˈnō-səs) [GR.] Constriction or narrowing of the spinal canal or foramen.

  13. Scoliosis (skō-lē-ˈō-səs) [GR. Skoliosis, curvature]. Lateral curvature of the spine. Usually consists of two curves.

  14. Radiculopathy (rə-ˌdi-kyə-ˈlä-pə-thē) [L. radicula, little root + GR. Pathos, disease]. Any diseased condition of roots of spinal nerves.

  15. Cervicalgia (cervix +‎ -algia) Pain or significant discomfort in the neck.
