Blackberry • Developed by (Research In Motion) RIM • Multitasking, trackwheel, trackball, • Best known for native support on corporate emails • Big player in US market • Updates to the operating system may be automatically available from wireless carriers • Native support for corporate email • Qwerty keyboard, bluetooth, high speed wireless data

  8. Windows Phone • Owned by Microsoft • Partnership with Nokia • UI, Web browser, Email, Multimedia, Game, Office suite, Sync • Search Engine, Voice Recognition

  9. J2ME • Developed by Sun • Restricted access to system • Compliance with JRE1.3 • Relatively old technology not keeping pace with latest technologies
