  1. Helping the Hungry By: Lily Dunn

  2. A Call for Help… Sent out by Frisco Family Services at the beginning of October…”Frisco Family Services put out an alert Tuesday, saying its pantry for people in need is running dangerously low on food. The pantry serves people who need help putting food on the table because of a crisis in their household, whether it’s a job loss, illness or divorce. The agency, which serves people living in Frisco and Frisco ISD, reports a 20 percent increase in demand at its food pantry. And with the holiday season fast approaching, demand is expected to increase even more. Officials have set a goal to collect 60,000 pounds of food this month to be able to serve their clients.”

  3. Passing Fliers out When I passed the fliers out I went from mailbox to mailbox on six streets, so it took me a while to pass them out. When I was at one house the lady who lived there was outside and read the flier. Then she went inside and brought out a boxed good and gave me a head start on getting the goods.

  4. Getting the Money and Goods To get the money and goods we did a bake sale. I worked with Reagan, Madeline, and Olivia. It was called “ Fall into Snacks “. We set up a table at a cornnernear the school. It had a lotof decorations. We were open from 1:00 to 3:00 on Sunday Oct. 20th and 3:00 to 6:00 on Monday Oct. 21st. We got a lot of goods on both days.

  5. Bringing the Food to the Food Sort Whenwe brought the food to the food sort we had to carry in a lot of heavy things. It took a lot of work. It wasn’t a one person job; it was a group job, which meant that we had to give it our all and push ourselves a lot. And with a lot of working hard, we got it done fast.

  6. Sorting the food When we started sorting the food we knew that it would take a lot of work. I switched out from making boxes and sorting the food. Most of the food was very heavy. Sometimes I dropped some of the food because it was very heavy.

  7. Hope you liked the show!!! The End
