On February 2007, significant advancements were made in the PantherDocs implementation project. Major milestones include the complete installation and configuration of document repositories and initial workflow applications for the Registrar and Financial Aid sectors. The project features a customized scanning solution designed for "point of receipt" scanning, currently undergoing testing. Desktop scanners have been deployed campus-wide, with back-file scanning underway. Upcoming timeline events include system testing, user training, and phased rollouts for the Registrar and Financial Aid teams, aiming to transition PBCC into a paperless institution.
