The World of Cricket The Game of Cricket World of Cricket Swiss Cricket The Swiss Cricket Association • Played professionally in: • Australia, Bangladesh, India, Kenya, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, West Indies, Zimbabwe • In Europe played as an amateur sport in: • Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Italy, Holland, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland • Cricket governing body: M.C.C. • International governing body: I.C.C. • European governing body: E.C.C. • Swiss governing body: S.C.A.

The Swiss Cricket Scene The Game of Cricket World of Cricket Swiss Cricket The Swiss Cricket Association Swiss Cricket Grounds: • Public sports fields or school grounds • Preferably large (two football fields) • Wicket is artificial (coconut or rubber matting – sometimes on all-weather strip) • Cossonay (near Lausanne) is the only purpose built cricket ground in Switzerland
