  3. Homes • The houses of Mohenjo-Daro were built on a street grid somewhat like neighborhoods in modern cities. The wall of the building across the street shows multiple phases of rebuilding

Buildings The public buildings of these cities also suggest a high degree of social organization. there is a building similarly civic in nature - a great public bath house, with steps down to a brick-lined pool in a colonnaded courtyard The elaborate bath area was very well built, with a layer of natural tar to keep it from leaking, and in the center was the swimming pool.

  5. Religion the religion was based on the worship of nature and the many gods and goddesses associated with it. One of the many animals worshiped was the bull, and to this day, cows are considered sacred in Indus and other Hindu nations.

  6. Transports Moenjodaro peoples used to use ox-craft and ships for transport.

  7. Skills High degree of craftsmanship and artistic ability has been reflected from collective Indus town planning, individual illustrative writing, pottery skills, knitting cloth, metal work, bead making e.g.: All the techniques they used in their works, representing into their living pattern, social and civil organization because city life and art seems to be necessary towards the middle of 3rd millennium in Indus Culture.

  8. Trades It is believed that the people of this civilization had a strong system of trade. The traded with far off nations. Although the ancient valley didn't produce metals like Silver, Bronze and Copper but articles and jewelry made of these metals were quite common in Moenjodaro

  9. Employments Craftsmen's must have made this necklace at Moenjodaro. From the technical point of view, the Employment of ground steatite in place of carved steatite mark a great advance in craftsmanship's.
