  2. Reports Basics - FlowIDs • Report Descriptive Name & FlowID is the same for 2010 as in 2000 • Multiple Reports run based on parameter selection

Reports Basics - Naming • Report file names for the 2010 system – same name as 2000 report with a leading lowercase ‘w’ 2000 Report Name 2010 Report Name AsrEdit.rpt wAsrEdit.rpt DirChargeDetail.rpt wDirChargeDetail.rpt FeesByAsmt.rpt wFeesByAsmt.rpt • County Specific reports have the County number leading the file name. C58wTBUA.rpt – Yuba’s Unsecured Annual Tax Bill • All migrated 2010 reports are in the “Reports2010” menu

  4. Reports Basics - Layout • Report Information - Upper Left • FlowID • Report File Name • Version • Report Title – Centered • County ID • Report Heading Name • Selection Criteria

  5. Reports Basics – Layout (cont) • Page Information - Upper Right • Current Date • Current Time • Current Page Number • Total Page Count • Report Footer – Bottom Left • User ID Requesting the report

Report Generation • Generic wrapper • All Reports requiring no parameters are run from MSW0520 – cannot have two open • Parameter Selection • Reports requiring parameters will display the parameters on the report wrapper • Run Request • All reports utilize the “Run Request” feature to generate the report once parameters are selected

  7. Report Generation (cont) • Reports that Update • Updating is now done from within the report • Report must be run to access the “update” feature • Example: Roll Correction Worksheets

  8. Reports Exporting • Reports may be exported into the following formats: • Crystal Reports (*.rpt) • Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf) • Microsoft Excel (*.xls) • Microsoft Excel (data only) (*.xls) • Microsoft Word (*.doc) • Microsoft Word – Editable (*.rtf) • Rich Text Format (*.rtf)

Reports Archival • Built in archival feature on many reports • Selecting this option will automatically archive the report • Report is archived to the server with the naming structure including: • FlowID • Report File Name • Current Date • User Name • TAX70-1525-020_FeesByAsmt_12-15-2010_testtax.pdf • Archived to the departmental share under “ReportArchives” sub-folder – Non destructive

  11. Reports Navigation • Page Selection • Scrolling • Specific Page Selection
