  8. Those taking part in the project range from the amateur player to the conservatory graduate. All of them are supported by a strong motivation to share the pleasure of music with people living in the same campus, believing in the cultural and human value of this activity. Moreover, MuSa offers an important service to the academic community: orchestras play on official occasions and during public exhibitions. MuSa takes place during the entire calendar year with the exception of the summer vacation. Celebrative and Cultural Events Office Page 8 04/12/2011

  9. Since 2008, MuSa Thursdays are regularly held at the Sala MuSa for the benefit of the students of Sapienza and the general public. Regardless of the content of the musical program (from a single piano to the orchestra to the big band) each of these events consists of a live musical performance and a listening guide – a type of lecture-concert by the conductors and musicologists of Sapienza or the young musicians themselves. 10. Other than in the Sala Musa (within the University), the lecture-concerts take place in other appropriate spaces of the University: the Aula Magna (predominantly), the cloisters of San Pietro in Vincoli (the Faculty of Engineering) and in University museums and lecture rooms. In addition, Musa can be invited to and hosted in other locations. Celebrative and Cultural Events Office Page 10 04/12/2011
