Working for Families Fund: Enhancing Support for Local Families in Renfrewshire

This presentation outlines the progress and impact of the Working for Families Fund (WFF) project, coordinated by Robert Madden. With over 1000 local families affected, the project provides essential support to parents, particularly those with children who have additional support needs. Key achievements include assisting 55 families, helping 14 into work, and enhancing childcare provider capabilities. However, challenges such as childcare costs, job centre referrals, and conflicting advice remain. This project highlights significant improvements in access to childcare, employability, and increased family confidence.
