  2. Definition: An athletic activity requiring skills or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing etc.

  4. Soccer Soccer is a game played between two teams of 11 players. The goal of the game is to kick the ball to get to the other end and into the net. You are not allowed to use the arms, and hands, except for the goalkeeper who is allowed to use any part of his body to stop the ball from getting in the net. http://www.cristianoronaldopictures.info

  7. Positive Aspects of sports • Sports can keep you fit • Sports can keep you active • Sports can make you healthy • If you continue in your sport then you can become a professional in that sport which means you can make lots of money ex: NBA, MLB, NFL, FIFA, NHL

  8. Negative Aspects of Sports • Sports can take over your life and keep you away from academics. Ex: Sometimes you may have to skip out on school to attend a game • You can get hurt and in some cases you can get a major injury losing your legs or death • Some people devote their life’s to become a professional and get paid to play then they do not become a professional. • Some people can not afford to play sports or join clubs. Ex: in Africa kids have to play street soccer
