  3. COFFEE You can also get a great cup of fair trade coffee from pretty much anywhere in order to start your day right. Fair trade coffee brands include Newman’s Own, Peace Coffee and The Roasterie.

The coffee he grows on his farm provides virtually all of his cash income. He says “The Fairtrade price allows us to survive as coffee farmers. It covers our costs of production, lets us send our kids to school, buy clothes and keep a roof over our heads. Without ‘Fairtrade’ we would probably have gone out of business during the coffee crisis.” Gerardo is just one example of the thousands of workers benefited by fair trade.
