  3. Summary • At first Freddy is in a pet shop. He is a Hamster. Nobody wants to buy him. Then a man named Gregory buys him for his little daughter. She lets him out of his cadge and he learns to read. He can understand animals and humans! But Sophie (AKA the daughter) gave Freddy a pencil. Freddy uses that to escape. Sophie’s mom gets an allergic reaction. Then Freddy gets moved to a friend of Gregory’s (AKA Mr. John) and lives there. While he lives there he is able to read more complicated books. Later he is moved back to Sophie’s house, but was able to escape and then returns to Mr. Johns house. Sophie looks for Freddy but Mr. John finds Freddy and talks to Sophie and gets to keep Freddy!

  4. Recommendation • I would recommend this to people because it is more different than most books since it is made from a hamster’s point of view. And it is different in its own way.

  5. Question • I would ask Freddy how much fun it was to ride on a cat’s back? And I want to know if Freddy likes mac and cheese. I sort of want to know if Freddy was ever scared of the cat.

  6. How I am like Freddy. • I am like Freddy because he likes books and I do too! Freddy also likes beef and so do I! Freddy likes to sneak in reading and so do I!
