  3. If I Am Persuaded that God is a Rewarder… I Will Diligently Seek Him

  4. Must come to God by Jesus “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’” John 14:6

  5. Must be Taught by God “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the Prophets “And they shall me taught by God.” Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to me.” John 6:44-45

  6. Must believe and Obey the Gospel • Believe unto righteousness • Romans 10:10, 17 • Repent unto life • Acts 11:18 • Confess unto salvation • Romans 10:10 • Be baptized unto remission of sins • Acts 2:38

  7. If I Am Persuaded that God is a Rewarder… My Faith Will Endure!

  8. Temporal Blessings of Seeking God… • Peace – Philippians 4:6-7 • Comfort – I Thessalonians 4:13 • Joy – Philippians 3:3 • Freedom – Galatians 5:1 • Success – Revelation 5:9-10

  9. “For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.” Romans 8:24-25

  10. If I Am Persuaded that God is a Rewarder… I Will Look to Things Above

  11. “Therefore, if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.” Colossians 3:1-2

  12. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-20
