  4. What is Sadh Sangat? • Sangat of holy men/women. • We find peace. • We learn about Waheguru • We do Kirtan and Simran. • We learn to share. • Our Guru Ji told us to do Sadh Sangat

  5. Why do you come to Friday Sangat? • To play • To eat langar • To listen and do kirtan/Simran

  6. Why do we go to school? • Why not study at home?

  7. Story of Rani Taramati • Raja Hari Chand had a beautiful wife named Taramati Rani. • They were living happily. • But queen always longed for any chance to attend Kirtan and sangat. • King did not liked this.

Taramati Rani heard of Sangat doing simran & kirta at amritvela. • Taramati Rani started going there every morning. after • After spending a few hours in the sangat, she would return home before Raja would wake up. • One night after Taramati had left to join the Sangat, Raja woke up. He failed to find queen anywhere in the palace. • He was very upset and decided to find where Rani went.

Next day again, Taramati got up at amritvela and went to join sangat. • Raja Hari chand followed her & was surprised to see that she was going to sangat. • Raja took one of her sandals with him, to show here later that he had caught her. • When Taramati Rani came outside she found one sandal missing. Sangat helped her to search but could not find. • She was deeply worried because she was worried that Raja might discover about her doing sangat and would stop her in future to continue.

Then sangat decided to do ARDAS to WAHEGURU to find a solution. • After doing Ardas, when sangat went outside they found the missing sandal, to complete the pair • When Taramati Rani arrived at the palace, Raja Hari chand asked her to show him her sandals which he had given her before as a gift. • Taramati pulled out her sandals to show him. • Raja was shocked & told Rani the truth that he followed her and even showed her the sandal. • He asked her-From where she got other sandal? • She replied by “Kirpa of Sangat’s Ardas”

  11. After listening to whole incident Raja Hari chand was very much impressed & decided he will also start attending Sangat. • From next day both Raja and Rani went to sangat together. • Like this, Waheguru Ji always helps those who come in the sangat.
