What requirements are required to get into this? • Obtain a university degree • Complete a Provincial Institute/Ordre student professional program • Gain prescribed practical experience with a training office by a Provincial Institute/Odre • Pass the UFE (Uniform Evaluation).
Salary • Trainees: $35,000-$50,000 • Newly qualified: $50,000-$80,000 • 3-5 years experience: $100,000 or more • Partners in Chartered accountancy firms: well over $200,000
What have i learned? • It takes a lot of math involving money. • You have to have an in-depth knowledge of accounting, business, and financial management before you can be called a chartered accountant.
