  2. GRAMMAR POINT There are different kinds of nouns.

  3. For some nouns, you can see them but you add s to them when there are more than one. These are called countable nouns. One pen two pens one student three students

For some nouns, you can see them but you do not add s to them because- they are difficult to count- you can’t count them These are called uncountable nouns For some nouns, you can’t see them because they are abstract ideas. They are uncountable nouns too. You don’t add s to them. love bappiness friendship

  5. Exercise 1 Johnny and Joe are playing on the beach. Look at the things they see. Put the names in the boxes under countable noun or uncountable noun.

  6. NOTES-FORM(1) You can use some words in front of uncountable nouns to show their amounts.

  7. Exercise 2 Jenny is having a party this Saturday. Look at what she has bought. Complete the shopping list below. Use the words in the box. Add s if necessary.
