KMC addresses these challenges through the recruitment, training and careful placement of mentors. Unfortunately, there is a critical shortage of volunteers in Northeast Florida. To qualify as a 2006-2007 Distinguished Member, a Kiwanian must: . Recruit at least two new members . Participate in two service projects . Attend both the midwinter and district convention (or their equivalent) If you know someone who deserves this recognition, submit a nomination by the Oct 15, 2007 deadline.
