  2. Duties - An Account Executive sells their company’s products to Fashion Buyers out of a showroom. Account Executives work very hard to get Buyers excited about each new product line and work with them to customize orders for their stores. - In charge of selection of fabrics and textiles, Always involved in acting as the advocate for the client with the company, making sure that the customer is receiving the best care promised at the time the business relationship was established.
  3. Personal Qualities & Abilities - Account Executives require to have a good understanding of business, competitor/industry knowledge and energetic, motivated attitude. Account Executives often develop relationships with Buyers; through experience and trust, they can help each other reach financial goals. - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; motivation, competitive, energetic; must have a passion for fashion and up to date on trends; good analytical, negotiation, business skills; ability to work under pressure.
  4. Education & Salary - Bachelors degree in Business or fashion merchandising is preferred/varies. - 1 to 2 yrs. of experience in corporate retail will help understand product, business operations and consumer habits. Sales associate experience, - Salary: $33,628 - $88,526 annually
  5. Location & Availability - Account Executives can be busiest during market week when the showroom is shown for the first time and Buyers come to make orders, which is 4-6 times a yr.. Non-market week times, the Account Executives are developing business plans, watching and reacting to how product is performing at retail, suggesting reorders for Buyers to place and making sure orders are processed correctly. - Fashion brand companies, Metro areas.
