The Flag • There is a white shield consisting of 3 grape vines, each having purple grapes. Underneath that is a white ribbon saying the motto. The grape vines stand for the fist English settlements from Massachusetts.
Information • Connecticut was established in 1788, and was the 5th state to be added to the union.
