At the 2010 SHRM Summit, we focused on gathering member feedback through diverse methods such as formal surveys, field visits, and advisory councils. By understanding local needs, from unemployment to talent shortages, we aim to strengthen our membership engagement. Goals include increasing member retention and participation, receiving national recognition for addressing specific issues, and developing statewide workforce programs. Collaboration with local chapters is essential for sustainable solutions, helping our members stay informed and involved in the profession.
