  4. Solve the x-box way Example: Solve 3x2 -13x -10 = 0 by factoring. x -5 (3)(-10)= -30 3x -15x 3x2 2 -15 +2 -13 2x -10 3x2 -13x -10 = 0 (x-5)(3x+2) = 0 X = 5, -2/3
