The Qin Dynasty: Unification, The Great Wall, and the Terra Cotta Warriors

The Qin Dynasty, lasting from 221 B.C. to 206 B.C., was the first to unify China under Emperor Qinshihuang. It marked the establishment of a feudal system that laid the groundwork for a multi-ethnic nation. The dynasty is famous for its monumental construction of the Great Wall, extending over 6,700 km, serving as a military defense. In 1974, peasants unearthed fragments of the remarkable Terra Cotta Warriors, which revealed an entire army crafted to accompany the emperor into eternity. This incredible find stands as a testament to the dynasty's historical significance.
