We saw the Christian Calling as: Hindsight from Volume 56 New Testament Studies • A high calling (Philippians 3: 14) • to make us live by a standard that is higher than that of the world • A holy calling (2 Timothy 1: 9) • to make us live strictly in holiness and righteousness • A heavenly calling (Hebrews 3: 1) • to help us make heaven at last
