Introduction • Delaware River Stevedores, Inc. is a full-service stevedore and marine terminal operator with roots back to 1905 • DRS is jointly owned by Ports America and SSA Marine (global marine terminal operators and stevedores) and has its corporate headquarters in center city Philadelphia with operations in five locations in the ports in NJ, PA and DE • DRS is the largest employer of the ILA (International Longshoreman's Association) on the Delaware River • Chuck Farthing joined DRS in 1978
