CHILD NUTRITION INNEW YORK STATE • Local Wellness Policies • LEAs mandated to develop policies by 6/30/06 • LWPs address nutrition education, physical education, all foods available on the school campus, and other school based activities • LEAs are in the implementation stage of LWP development • LWP process is a long-term commitment to positive environmental change
