  1. QWA #2Literary Analysis Prewriting PowerPoint First, rename this PowerPoint and save at the following location AND in your personal file: Click File and Save as. In the “File Name” box on the bottom of the screen, type your full first and last name! Click the little drop-down arrow, and select the StuappsDrive. Open the [your teacher] file. Press Save.   2. Slide 2 Here, you must include the short story title, author’s name, and a bulleted list of the literary elements emphasized in class for that piece.

  3. Slide 3 Here, provide a visual representation of the first bulleted element. You might consider a meaningful picture, a piece of artwork, a collage, or a video clip that best exemplifies it. Provide an explanation/caption beneath your visual, explaining its significance.

  4. Slide 4 Record 3-5 examples of that literary element (with page numbers!) from the story.

  5. Slide 5 Here, provide a visual representation of the second bulleted element from your first slide. Remember to include an explanation/caption beneath your visual, explaining its significance.

  6. Slide 6 Record 3-5 examples of that literary element (with page numbers!) from the story.

  7. Slide 7 Here, provide a visual representation of the third bulleted element from your first slide. Remember to include an explanation/caption beneath your visual, explaining its significance.

  8. Slide 8 Record 3-5 examples of that literary element (with page numbers!) from the story.

  9. Slide 9 Explore critical analyses of the short story on-line. (Do a Google-search and pick one that reflects intelligent thought and offers evidence for assertions made.) Cut-and-paste that link here.

  10. Slide 10 Respond to that critical analysis by sharing whether or not you agree. Provide explanations to back your comments.

  11. Final Touches • Make your presentation unique by animating it and spicing up the graphics. 2) Save the presentation one last time: • Click File and Save as. • Click the little drop-down arrow, and select the StuappsDrive. • Open the [your teacher] file. • Click on your name. • Press Save. 3) Print a hard copy of your presentation: • Select File and Print. • In the “Print what” drop-down, select Handouts. • Hit OK.
