Observations from Contribute to Assessment Workshops

In a series of one-day workshops conducted at the end of 2011 and early 2012, over 200 participants, including 40 from Yum Restaurants, shared and discussed key issues within the assessment process across various industry sectors. Key observations highlighted a poor understanding of assessment, lack of clarity regarding roles, and the need for improved communication between supervisors and Registered Training Organizations (RTOs). Participants also explored effective tools for evidence gathering and strategies for supporting and preparing trainees, aiming to enhance the overall assessment experience.
