. Oil pollution is a killer to animals and humans because the smell of the oil can get into the human's lungs. It can get into the animals eyes, mouth, and nose.. . We know that when there's an oil spill from a ship, it causes many animals to die. When a whale is hungry and a fish is close to the oil, the whale might eat the fish with the oil..

    1. How does the horrible pollution of mother nature happen? A Report by Henry, Lesly, Nicki, Mario, Maria, and Myrianna

    3. We know that when there’s an oil spill from a ship, it causes many animals to die. When a whale is hungry and a fish is close to the oil, the whale might eat the fish with the oil.

    4. When people pour their used motor oil on the ground or into a septic system it eventually seeps into the ground water.It can affect the ocean by getting in the ocean.

    5. We want to find out if people know that cars cause more oil to go into the ocean than the huge ships.

    6. We asked people if they knew the types of oil pollution and which one caused the most oil pollution.

    7. Ways oil gets into the environment: Offshore drilling-operation discharges Large oil spills-from oil tankers Natural seeps-seepage from the bottom of the ocean Oil from the atmosphere-from car pollution in the air Routine maintenance of ships-ship bilge cleaning Oil poured down the drain from auto use.

    8. We decided to ask people in our community what they think causes more oil pollution.We asked them during science class, breaks, and after school.

    9. Analysis of data Our group ordered the information from the papers that people filled out. Then we found out that they thought large oil spills caused most oil pollution, but we know that down the drain is the real cause of most oil pollution.

    11. Conclusion Our group thinks that we are between disaster and conservation. People have a greater awareness because people are cleaning the oceans and the beaches. If no one helps in the next 10, 20, or 100 years we will have a really big contamination problem.

    12. How people can help stop oil spills: People should stop pouring oil down the street drains.

    13. People shouldn’t pour antifreeze, oil or other chemicals on the ground, into storm sewers or down the drain because they are killing animals and contaminating themselves.
