  4. Subjects Include • Subjects include: • Jamestown 2007 • VMFA Permanent Collection • Architecture • Crafts • Graphic Design • Painting and Drawing • Photography • Printmaking • Online Exhibitions

  5. How to select a show? • Select a show that has limited security and is FREE • How much space do you have? (Exhibitions 11-20 posters, framed pictures, reproductions, etc. and 18-54 feet long)

  6. How to pick it up? • Strong PTA parent with a van or covered truck bed who can pick up at VMFA loading dock and drop off at school during museum and school hours.

  7. How to Display it? • If your school has lotsa money…. • Go to : http://www.enasco.com: • Order The GripLock Art Suspension System Product Number: 9713164 Price: 70.95for 80 inch aluminum track, 4 cables and hooks.

  8. How Much? • Me As a Child: My Home and Village • 15 works run 31 ‘ • 80 inches = 6 1/2 feet apx • Need to order 5 strips at 70.95 = $354.75 • Plus possible extra wire and hooks to hang 15 pieces = ???

  9. More Muscle than Money? - Order Braided Picture Wire (United Arts and Crafts) $37.90 - Go Lowe’s and buy : 8’ Lattice H-Divider 5 @ $4.97 = $24. 85 and 1 1/2 inch S- hooks 5 pks @ .98 = $4.90 - $67.65 TOTAL

  11. PTA Fathers • PTA fathers were able to mount the strips to the concrete walls

  12. Hang the Art Work • Other parents helped me to unload the artwork and hang it.
