  1. My Co-opNov 2007- Dec 2007 Hayley walker-Ross

  2. What is all seasons • All seasons is Winnipeg based company • Alternative healthy ways to eat • Catering company • Movies, weddings and other functions • Eating well is always in season

  3. Locations • Wellness institute • Legislative building • Seven oaks general hospital • Workers compensations • Shop (1595 main street)

  4. Management structure

  5. Clientele • Each location has a different clientele base. • Wellness has elderly and “healthy” choice people (weight trainers and specific diet patience's ) • Hospital has doctors, nurses and some patience • Legislative has more political people/ new casts. They like the unique soups (turkey and cranberry chowder is one of there favourites) • Workers comp doesn’t really have a huge clientele (they like there toast and baked goods) • Shop is where we do our catering, baking and film prep from. Clientele from there is always changing

  6. Ups and Downs of the job • Critical events I experienced during my co-op are: • We lost a great deal of staff (total of 6 in one location) • We gained a lot of films but not enough staff • Down sizing of the company • We pulled out of the contract with the hospital and wellness center

  7. As Seasons Baker • My main description was to make baked goods for films, locations and functions. Take and receive orders, make orders and do inventory. • Films • I made cream pies, bread pudding, cakes, pecan and raisin tarts and a lot more (anything they asked they I get done) • Each location has a choice of: • date squares, diabetic squares, cookies, granola bars, muffin mix and anything they need for functions • Functions were never the same always some thing different • (example: short bread cookies or jam cookies) • I also made new recipes and changed them to taste better

  8. Films • Since seasons is a catering company they catered to movies that come to winnipeg • Each movie had a different budget and by doing so that means I was only allowed to do a certain amount of baking per day for them • Movies: Haunted in Connecticut, less then kind, full of it and many others • Stars that I have met: Billy Zane, Mark Mckinney, Amanda Crew and Margot Kidder (Lois lane)

  9. Conclusion • My co-op was a good place for first semester. • They don’t do a whole bunch of baking its more of the muffin mix and so on • The only up side I enjoyed was the movies
