Comparison of Herbicide Mixtures for Herbaceous Weed Control and Loblolly Pine Seedling Performance

This study explores the impact of various herbicide combinations on weed control and pine growth. Testing four herbicides, the research justifies further refinement and clarification of practices for effective control. Nacogdoches and Sturgis are primary locations for data collection, revealing insights into the efficacy of different mixtures. Statistical analyses such as Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test are employed to assess seedling survival, height, diameter, and volume index. Conclusions highlight the effectiveness of three-way mixtures and identify key herbicides for optimal control.
