SwitchIt! Pictures Skill: Cause & Effect Children build common, easily identified objects, click by click. The program uses vivid colors and basic shapes. A brightly animated reward lets the child know when the task is competed.
SwitchIt! Opposites Skill: Concept Building Children are introduced to the concepts of big and little, up and down, hot and cold, in and out, and open and closed. Two or more objects appear on the screen. A visual reward given when the child makes the right selection.
SwitchIt! Scenes Skill: Taking Turns Pairs of children take turns clicking their switch as each adds a new element to a familiar scene. They are rewarded by an animated sequence when the task has been completed successfully. Customized switch colors let each child know when it’s his/her turn.
SwitchIt! Patterns Skill: Cause and Effect Children build bold geometric patterns with each click of the switch. The child can choose from ten distinct patterns with three levels of complexity. Select color cycling or animation for a visually stimulating reward.
This “game” program builds hand-eye coordination and problem solving skills. Students advance from easier to more complex level of play.
